Synopsis

This short film proposes an exploration of the absurd as a poetic language, and of the everyday as a space filled with small mysteries to be discovered. Simple actions, when decontextualized, transform into gestures laden with contradictions: destruction and care, control and vulnerability, the intimate and the alien, the private and the public. Objects we know – a comb, a banana, a toaster – lose their usual function and take on new lives. A comb cuts a tomato and a banana becomes a stitched canvas. These actions, although absurd, reflect an underlying truth: the everyday world that is so familiar to us is full of strangeness if we look at it from another angle.
